a New York 501(c)(3) non-profit organization

TOYX, Inc.’s mission is to acquire, preserve, maintain, display, interpret, and operate historic railroad equipment and other vehicles to benefit and support the communities it serves.

OUR PROJECTS

TOYX uses its historic railcars to operate special annual trains across five U.S. states during the holiday season to collect over 50,000 toys for the Toys for Tots Foundation and other toy drives, which redistribute the toys to less fortunate children. TOYX’s Operation Toy Train runs in five states and is one of the largest toy collection campaigns in the United States.

The Port Jervis Railroad Museum at the historic Erie Railroad turntable site in Port Jervis, New York is a subisidiary that is owned and operated by TOYX. Over two dozen pieces of historic railroad equipment are on display around the operable 1927 turntable. Exhibits are typically open on weekends from May to October, and the site hosts several special events.
